Downstairs there is a cloakroom and, in some properties, a utility room or study. All bathrooms and en-suites are fully tiled and fitted with stylish, contemporary bathroom suites.
Throughout the hall, cloakroom and kitchen/diner you will find LV Moduleo flooring with luxury fitted carpets throughout the rest of the home. When it came to naming our houses, we looked at the rich history of Ash. Once part of the Royal Manor of Wingham, Ash became a separate parish in 1282 and, later, the land was separated into sub-manors, each with a manor house or two.
There were between twelve and sixteen manor houses, many of which are found in the names of roads and farms in and around the village, as well as the few remaining houses. It was these grand country homes that gave the inspiration for our development, Leverick Place and the names we chose for our houses. They are The Molland, The Chilton, The Goldstone, The Barton, The Overland, The Fleet and The Goshall. Beautiful new homes, creating a new chapter in the history of this harming and notable village.

About the Development

The Village of Ash

The sought-after village of Ash is situated in Kent, just a short distance from the historic market town of Sandwich and the world-recognised Cathedral City of Canterbury. The village has an abundance of local amenities. There are shops, a doctor’s surgery, dentist, hairdressers, farm shops, a public house and restaurant.
The beautiful and quaint St Nicholas Church has been a part of the village since 1190 AD. You will also find an active village hall, bowls club and library. There is a regular bus service and a train station 3 miles away in Sandwich. Local Primary schools include Cartright and Kelsey Primary School, Eastry C of E Primary School and St Faith’s Preparatory School. There are also a range of secondary schools, grammar schools and private schools, including Sandwich Technology School, Sir Roger Manwood’s School and The King’s School in Canterbury.
Ash is also within easy reach of award-winning sandy Blue Flag beaches. Sandwich Bay is only a few miles away with Broadstairs, Margate and Ramsgate just a short drive away. There are many places for country walks and bike rides and Betteshanger Country Park is just one fine example.
Local attractions: Wingham Wildlife Park, Dover Castle, the Marlowe Theatre and Canterbury Cathedral. Travel options include the ferry from the port of Dover and the Eurotunnel from Ashford or Folkestone. Sandwich train station also has a direct link to London Charing Cross.
